Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all roles, including executive, professional, and critical blue-collar/operations positions
- Develop and implement effective onboarding and offboarding procedures for a diverse employee population.
- Manage foreign worker quota, work pass applications, and renewal processes in strict compliance with MOM regulations.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Oversee and ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing, including all statutory contributions and tax filings.
- Administer the full cycle of employee benefits, including leave, insurance plans, and yearly compensation reviews.
- Manage the annual performance appraisal process, salary reviews, and bonus payouts.
Safety, Compliance & Industrial Relations
- Ensure strict compliance with the Singapore Employment Act, Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA), and all MOM/CPF/IRAS regulations.
- Serve as the primary contact for all employee relations matters, resolving disputes, and administering disciplinary actions fairly and consistently.
- Work closely with the Safety Officer to ensure HR policies support and reinforce the company's robust safety culture and WSH training requirements.
- Manage and process Workplace Injury Compensation Act (WICA) claims and related insurance matters.
Training, Development & Engagement
- Identify training needs for both office and operations staff, focusing on safety, technical skills, and leadership development.
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives appropriate for a mixed environment of corporate and operations teams.
HR Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HR systems (HRIS), and personnel files.
- Prepare HR-related data and reports for management, focusing on key metrics like headcount, turnover, compensation costs, and safety training compliance.
- Develop, review, and update HR
skills and experience required
Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Manager capacity, preferably within the manufacturing, logistics, marine, or recycling/industrial sector in Singapore.
Demonstrable expertise in Singapore employment law, especially related to the Employment Act and Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA).
Proven experience in managing payroll and foreign worker administration (Work Permits/S Passes).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both office executives and operations/workshop staff.
Hands-on experience with an HRIS system.
Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
