Our client is a Semiconductor firm with 200 employees in Singapore, with overseas presence. The organisation has a strong people culture and well established HR team. Due to an increase in business needs, they are now looking for a HR Manager to lead and further develop the team.
about the job
Reporting to the HR Lead, this is a newly created role managing a HR team of 3. This role will cover HR Generalist duties including but not limited to:
- Manage the entire range of HR activities, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with department leaders on workforce planning, talent development, and succession strategies.
- Ensure adherence to local employment legislation and regulatory guidelines (e.g., MOM, PDPA).
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being within the organization.
- Address and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues promptly and fairly.
- Prepare HR reports and conduct data analysis to inform and support business decision-making.
... skills and experience required
- Relevant HR education and work experience at a similar caliber
- Relevant industry experience will be highly advantageous (e.g. manufacturing, electronics, engineering, semiconductor etc)
- At least 2 years of experience working with blue collar employees/ industry
- Ideally at least 2 years of managerial experience
