Our client is fast growing FMCG company with established branding across Asia-Pacific. Due to business expansion, they are currently seeking a talented HR Director to lead their regional and international markets. This senior leadership position is based in the Singapore HQ and requires an effective leader to manage their regional HR agenda.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the Group Chief Executive Officer, you will act as an advisor to the C-Suites and manage in-country HRs across APAC with a business focus on Singapore, Japan and China. In addition, you will:
- Develop and lead all regional HR strategies; including HR business partnering, operations, talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, employee engagement
- Drive talent management and succession planning for senior leadership team, support performance appraisal exercises and enhance HR capabilities / people strategy
- Manage all alignment of global Compensation and Benefits structure
- Work closely with the C-Suites, business leaders and leadership team on people agenda and provide strategic HR guidance and support to the local HR teams globally
- Lead all regional HR reporting and data, utilizing HR metrics and ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and aligned with business objectives
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or relevant equivalent
- Minimum 15 years’ experience within an APAC or global position
- Experience within FMCG, retail (modern trade) or logistics industries preferred, with hands-on HR experience within high growth companies
- Proven ability to successfully manage HR teams in multiple sites globally across regions
- Possess strong leadership qualities and strategic business acumen with excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with employees across all levels
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations regionally across APAC including China and Japan
