As Sales VP, your role is focused on substantial new revenue generation and portfolio expansion. You will operate as a senior individual contributor, responsible for achieving challenging personal sales objectives while strategically influencing go-to-market strategies across internal delivery and sales teams. This role demands exceptional commercial acumen and the ability to operate effectively at the highest levels of client organizations.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and build inroads into the financial services sector by forging and maintaining trusted, deep relationships with senior client leadership (C-Suite, Business Unit Heads) to drive new and existing business.
- Formulate an annual, detailed business acquisition strategy that aligns with the corporate vision and financial goals. This includes rigorous sales volume forecasting and establishing quantifiable sales milestones.
- Work in tandem with executive management to proactively pinpoint and translate internal capabilities and external market shifts into tangible client solutions and profitable business opportunities.
- Develop, deploy, and govern innovative multi-channel sales approaches. Continuously refine these strategies based on comprehensive competitive analysis and evolving market dynamics.
- Guide the deal pursuit process across multiple phases (prospecting, discovery, commercial negotiations, etc) and cross-functional teams (pre-sales, account management, bid management etc), ensuring that the final proposed technical and business solutions directly address key client objectives and deliver clear value.
- Contribute to profit margin targets by skillfully applying market insights, managing budgetary parameters, and overseeing the execution of commercialization strategies.
skills and experience required:
- At least 12 years of proven sales success in IT services sales.
- Strong new business development with success in securing major IT services and solutions contracts within the Singapore market, with some experience in the APAC markets. Experience in the local Singapore Market is more crucial.
- Financial Management and Deal Closure: Proven capability in managing a large existing and target revenue pipeline of P&L S$40 Million, with a proven track record of independently closing single contracts with Total Contract Values (TCV) of more than S$25 Million.
- Previous senior experience acquired within IT service providers.
- Exceptional proficiency in complex negotiations, strategic budget development, and detailed process governance.
- Must possess an adaptive mindset, strong consultative skills for identifying latent client needs, and the ability to inspire and lead through influence.
- A commitment to maintaining high-level technical and professional knowledge through ongoing learning and market engagement.
