about the job and the manager
We are currently looking to hire a Key Account Manager to manage the off-trade / modern trade channel. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and rollout of channel growth strategies and action plans to boost distribution and drive product movement for all brands, in line with company goals.
- Work closely with wholesalers to launch targeted initiatives that strengthen distribution and expand market reach.
- Strengthen partnerships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Oversee promotional activities, sales initiatives, and operational processes.
- Analyze sales trends and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation to meet sales targets.
- Support and enhance the effectiveness of internal sales teams.
- Conduct research to refine strategies and enhance product positioning.
skills and experience required
- You should minimally have 5 years of experience in modern trade, managing Sheng Shiong / DFI / NTUC FairPrice
- You should have experience managing wholesalers or distributors and managing off-trade sales
- You should have a strong financial acumen in analyzing P&L.
