Reporting to the HR Director, you will helm the Learning & Development portfolio to develop and implement training and people development initiatives within the organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training programs aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Conduct needs analyses and research innovative training methodologies to enhance program effectiveness.
- Facilitate leadership development and skills-based workshops (e.g., conflict resolution, effective communication).
- Manage L&D-related projects, defining scope, timelines, and resources, and proactively addressing challenges.
- Champion a robust learning culture through strategic communication and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with division heads to support talent development, contributing to talent management and succession planning frameworks.
- Oversee the employee survey process and subsequent action planning related to learning and development.
- Manage training vendor relationships, including evaluation and customization of services.
- Develop and manage the annual training calendar, communication plans, and L&D budget.
- Administer and optimize the learning management platform, including content development and strategies to maximize user engagement.
- Conduct new hire orientation and deliver relevant training programs for all staff.
- Develop and implement learning content and materials, ensuring alignment with learner needs and instructional design principles.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development
- Excellent communication skills with the proven track record of conducting stand-up training delivery
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
