Reporting to the Associate General Counsel based in Singapore and working with a team of lawyers globally, you will provide comprehensive legal counsel and commercial support to executive leadership and various functional departments across the group’s global operations. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial agreements, advising on significant corporate transactions such as M&A and financing activities and also managing disputes when they arise. Furthermore, you will play a key role in the expansion of international subsidiaries and the continuous enhancement of internal compliance frameworks to mitigate regional and global risks.

skills and experience required.
You are a qualified lawyer with a degree with at least 7 years of post-qualification experience gained within a reputable law firm and/or an inhouse role in the shipping or logistics industries. You possess a strong background in advising on corporate and commercial matters and a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape of the industry. You are able to prioritize and manage diverse legal matters under tight deadlines while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset are essential, as you will be expected to influence senior stakeholders and provide strategic, compliant solutions that align with the broader business objectives.
