Reporting to the Global Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements, including calculations, deductions, statutory submissions, and adjustments.
- Maintaining payroll systems and employee records with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Administering employee benefits such as enrolments, deductions, and related changes.
- Conducting payroll audits, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations and tax requirements.
- Preparing monthly payroll reports and coordinating submissions to Finance and other stakeholders as required.
- Liaising with external payroll vendors, auditors, and government bodies on payroll-related matters.
- Supporting employee inquiries related to payroll and providing high standards of customer service.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives in payroll processes, including automation and system enhancements.
- Collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and cross-functional teams to resolve payroll issues and support organizational objectives.
- Staying updated with payroll regulations, statutory requirements, and best practices to ensure full compliance.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in payroll operations, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore employment laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Experience working with outsourced payroll vendors and HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to support payroll operations across different time zones when required.
