About the Job
You will be responsible for the total business development and growth of a comprehensive life science product portfolio within the Singapore market. In this commercially focused role, you will execute a dual strategy of direct sales to end-users in academic, industrial, and clinical labs while simultaneously managing and motivating a network of distributors to ensure market coverage and lead generation. Your core responsibilities include building and maintaining deep relationships with a networked community of scientists and lab managers, providing high-level customer care, and conducting product demonstrations to showcase technical value. Furthermore, you will track market trends and competitor activities to propose actionable sales strategies, participate in regional marketing initiatives, and uphold the premium brand image through professional excellence and technical expertise.
Skills and Experience Required
- Education: Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience in sales roles, specifically within the Life Science or MedTech industry.
- A strong track record of sales achievement and the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Experience working within a matrix-based organization is highly preferred.
- Well-networked within cutting-edge biotech, pharma, and clinical environments in Singapore.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to make timely, effective decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience utilizing CRM systems to track market information.
