This is a 12-month contract opportunity for an Application Support Specialist within a fast-paced banking environment
Monitor system availability and resolve technical defects in accordance with established service level agreements.
Oversee daily batch processing cycles, including start-of-day and end-of-day execution for critical applications.
Manage end-to-end incident lifecycles by logging tickets, tracking progress, and ensuring timely closure of user queries.
Collaborate with engineering teams on server maintenance, patching, and annual business continuity exercises.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for application releases and system configuration updates.

Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in technical production support or IT operations.
Proficiency in legacy systems such as mid-range platforms or mainframes, alongside Unix/Linux environments and database scripting.
Practical experience with enterprise job scheduling and system monitoring dashboard tools.
Strong understanding of service management frameworks and structured incident response methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide technical workarounds under tight time constraints.
