In this role, you will manage the placement of high-value, individual property risks that require specialized, case-by-case coverage. As a Property Facultative Reinsurance Broker, you will act as a strategic link, ensuring that complex and varied assets—ranging from commercial developments to industrial sites—are protected through precise reinsurance market placements.
Key responsibilities include:
Risk Placement: Designing and placing individual property risks with market providers to secure optimal terms and coverage for clients.
Technical Analysis: Reviewing surveys, technical data, and policy wordings to present a diverse range of assets accurately and effectively to the market.
Market Engagement: Leveraging your professional network to negotiate competitive pricing and robust coverage limits.
Client Advisory: Providing expert insights on market trends and assisting with the end-to-end placement process.

skills and experience required
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in property insurance or reinsurance, specifically within the individual risk (facultative) space.
Certifications: Must possess valid BCP and ComGI certifications (Singapore College of Insurance).
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with property policy wordings, risk accumulation concepts, and the ability to interpret technical loss data.
Professional Attributes: Strong negotiation skills and a professional demeanor, with a proven ability to build rapport with market underwriters and clients.
Added Advantage: Advanced qualifications such as ACII or ANZIIF are highly regarded.
