about the job
This is a pivotal opportunity for a proactive professional to join the Singapore team as a Claims Specialist, focusing on high-quality administration and technical service delivery. You will be expected to execute the end-to-end setup and administration of new claims files using internal management systems.
Manage and evaluate centralized data to produce detailed regular and ad-hoc analytical reports.
Process and review complex claims statements and bordereaux to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Partner with underwriters to provide technical briefings on individual cases and broader portfolio trends.
Ensure all activities align with regional risk appetites, financial crime regulations, and fair customer outcome standards.
skills and experience required
Prior experience handling reinsurance claims (open to multi lines such as Property, Financial lines, Power, Casualty, Marine or Engineering)
Candidates with experience in reinsurer, broker or specialty insurer are welcome
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and review statistical data effectively
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly
Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
