This is a critical technical position providing expert property risk assessments to support underwriting and claims mitigation efforts. You will be expected to perform comprehensive desk-based risk appraisals and technical analysis for the property business line and conduct detailed onsite surveys for existing and prospective clients to evaluate plant design and hazards.

The ideal incumbent will be required to prepare high quality risk engineering reports to facilitate accurate and profitable underwriting decisions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide technical input on claims and identify mitigation strategies. You will maintain ownership of allocated accounts by following up on key recommendations and process improvements.

skills and experience required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
4+ years of proven experience in property loss prevention and risk engineering practices.
Proficiency in calculating loss estimates and assessing complex industrial hazards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to non technical stakeholders.
Advanced competency in standard professional software and database management systems.
