As part of their business expansion, they are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager with a proven hunter mindset to drive revenue growth for their trade shows, exhibitions, and B2B events.
About the role
Reporting to the Sales Director, your responsibilities would include
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects across relevant industries
- Sell exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and delegate passes to senior-level decision makers and corporate clients.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis to match clients with suitable participation packages that deliver clear ROI.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with event positioning and audience targeting.
- Deliver persuasive sales pitches and presentations in-person, virtually, or at industry events.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets consistently.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasting, and reporting.
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally from events, exhibitions, conferences, aviation, or related industries.
- Strong sales hunter mentality – self-driven, proactive, and comfortable initiating contact at all levels of seniority.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage a sales cycle from prospecting to close with minimal supervision.
