about the job
As a Sales Manager within the Foodservice department, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company's market presence. This is a strategic sales role focused on high-level product knowledge and the achievement of ambitious sales objectives.
Key responsibilities includes:
- Sales Execution: Driving and achieving individual sales targets while maintaining a high level of expertise across various food product categories.
- Strategic Planning: Implementing sales plans, analyzing market trends, and setting pricing strategies alongside senior leadership to maximize profitability.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-lasting customer relationships and proposing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Operational Coordination: Monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with Commercial and Logistics teams to ensure prompt order fulfillment.
- Reporting: Tracking sales metrics, preparing monthly results, and presenting annual forecasts to senior management.
about the manager/team
You will report directly to the Sales Director of Foodservice, working within a department that values collaboration and a unified approach to sales activities. You will also collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure sales strategies are perfectly aligned with overall business goals.
skills and experience required
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales/business development role, ideally within the foodservice or premium food industry, with a proven track record of hitting targets.
- Well-versed in various food product categories with a strong business sense.
- Negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A "can-do" spirit and the ability to thrive.
