In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and supporting our sales managers in their efforts to grow our aftermarket business.
You'll analyze market data to pinpoint key customer targets and develop strategies for securing new business. You will also coordinate sales activities across various teams and ensure that our CRM system is up-to-date with the latest opportunities.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Preparing comprehensive maintenance plans for upcoming projects.
- Serving as a project manager to coordinate sales efforts with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Following up on leads and assisting sales managers in their preparation for client meetings.
- Collaborating with the delivery team to ensure a seamless handover of projects.
- Contributing to continuous process improvement and maximizing the use of our sales tools and systems.
about the manager/team
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. You will be working closely with other Sales Support Coordinators in the management of service accounts.
skills and experience required
The incumbent should have Proven experience in the marine industry, with a background that demonstrates an equivalent level of education or practical expertise. Strong product knowledge and understanding of relevant systems. Highly organized and able to work autonomously with a systematic and structured approach. Excellent communication and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Proficiency with essential business software, including the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as CRM and ERP systems.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
