about the jobTake a central role in architecting and delivering sophisticated data warehousing solutions as an SAP BW/4HANA & BOBJ WebI Developer. This role focuses on the end-to-end lifecycle of data modeling and reporting to drive strategic business insights.
Data Architecture: Design, construct, and maintain advanced SAP BW/4HANA data models, including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and InfoObjects.
Reporting Excellence: Develop and optimize SAP BOBJ Web Intelligence (WebI) reports, ensuring high performance, usability, and strict alignment with business requirements.
Extraction & Integration: Build and enhance robust data extraction frameworks utilizing CDS-ODP and standard BW extractors to ensure seamless data flow.
Query Development: Engineer complex BW/BEx queries featuring advanced calculations, restricted/key figures, variables, and optimized query techniques.
Technical Logic: Implement complex transformation logic using BW routines (Start/End/Field) and AMDP, alongside ABAP developments such as customer exits, BADIs, and function modules.
Operations & Automation: Oversee data loading processes, including DTPs, delta mechanisms, and the design/automation of process chains for scheduled loads.
Data Integrity: Perform rigorous data reconciliation and troubleshooting to ensure consistency and reliability across source systems and reporting layers.
Migration & Tuning: Lead BW/4HANA migration activities, including system conversion, object remediation, and proactive performance tuning.
Governance: Ensure strict adherence to governance, data security, and authorization concepts within both BW and BOBJ environments.
Seniority: Open to a range of experience levels, from Junior to Senior Developers (Multiple headcounts available).
Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in SAP BW/4HANA data modeling and SAP BOBJ Web Intelligence.
Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in ABAP for BW (routines, function modules, and DTP filter routines) and AMDP.
Analytical Tools: Deep understanding of BW/BEx Query Designer and data transformation techniques.
Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with HANA-based modeling and CDS-ODP extraction frameworks.
Lifecycle Experience: Demonstrated ability to support the full project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to SIT, UAT, and production deployment.
