Working closely under the Head of Finance, you will be ensuring the integrity of financial data while providing the insights necessary for high-level decision-making. You will maintain general ledger transactions for accuracy and compliance while preparing month-end vouchers, financial statements, and analyses focused on revenue recognition and lease accounting. Key duties include supporting timely closes, providing accounting insights for budget forecasts and board papers, and collaborating with group teams for data consolidation. Additionally, you will assist in audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance efforts to ensure consistent financial reporting. As a key collaborator, you will liaise with group-wide teams to streamline consolidations and support the board with clear, accounting-driven insights during budget and forecasting cycles. Additionally, you will be a catalyst for innovation, helping to refine financial systems like IFS and identifying smart automation opportunities to boost departmental efficiency.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally gained within a large MNC or a Big 4 auditing firm.
- Prior exposure to the infrastructure or energy industries is highly advantageous.
- Technical mastery of regulatory standards and the ability to navigate complex accounting treatments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to transform complex data sets into persuasive executive presentations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proactive and the resilience to thrive and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure, international setting
