about the job
In this role, you will take ownership of a dedicated portfolio, focusing on business development and the day-to-day servicing of commercial accounts. You will evaluate client requirements to design and implement tailored non-life insurance solutions across property, casualty, and employee benefits. The position requires navigating complex client exposures and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Client Servicing: Managing the daily servicing of assigned portfolios and serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and ongoing support.
• Risk Analysis: Evaluating client exposures to recommend appropriate insurance products across property, casualty, and employee benefits.
• Placement & Negotiation: Sourcing suitable carriers, negotiating optimal quotes, and preparing comprehensive recommendations for clients.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensuring all professional activities adhere strictly to local regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.

skills and experience required
Your qualifications and experience should include:
• Experience: Background in business development and account management, with specific knowledge of property, casualty, and employee benefits.
• Education: A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma.
• Certifications: Certificate in Basic Concepts and Principles of General Insurance (BCP), Commercial General Insurance (CGI), Personal General Insurance (PGI), and Health Insurance (HI), or equivalent.
• Technical Proficiency: Computer proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Communication: Written and verbal communication skills for engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work Management: Organizational and time management abilities to carry out assignments within established deadlines.
