Take on a pivotal role within a professional finance team where you will lead efforts in statutory reporting and regulatory compliance.
Manage end-to-end financial closing cycles including group, statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Prepare and review ledger entries and management schedules while maintaining rigorous balance sheet reconciliations.
Oversee the timely submission of all tax-related filings, including GST returns and annual statutory documents.
Partner with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth information exchange and compliance.
Champion digital transformation projects and process enhancements to drive efficiency through finance automation.
Skills and experience required
Degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent professional accreditation.
Approximately four to five years of relevant professional experience within the insurance or reinsurance industries.
Strong technical understanding of international reporting standards and specialized insurance accounting.
Practical knowledge of managing regulatory submissions to local authorities.
Advanced capability in spreadsheet management and familiarity with standard financial accounting systems.
