This specialized financial reporting position offers an excellent opportunity to manage statutory compliance and technical ledger closure workflows within a prominent insurance organization.
End-to-end preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant statutory requirements.
Preparing and ensuring timely submission of MAS regulatory returns.
Participating actively in the ongoing maintenance, reporting, and disclosure workflows under the IFRS 17 standard, collaborating closely with the actuarial and IT teams.
Handle incoming financial inquiries and facilitate effective communications with auditors and external regulatory bodies.
Identifying opportunities to streamline reporting workflows, enhance data automation, and strengthen internal controls.
Skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will bring solid technical competence in corporate reporting alongside an analytical mindset.
At least 2 years of financial reporting experience within the insurance industry.
Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or a related discipline, with a preferred professional certification such as CA or CPA status.
Hands-on exposure to MAS regulatory requirements and a solid, practical understanding of IFRS 17 are essential for this role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
