Our client is a high-growth infrastructure developer and operator with a significant footprint across the Asia-Pacific region. Due to the growth, there is now an exceptional opportunity for a commercially-driven capital markets lawyer to be part of the Asia Pacific legal team.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be part of a high-performing legal team to drive capital markets, financing and M&A transactions within a fast-paced regional environment. In this role, you will act as the primary legal lead for equity and debt capital markets activities and ensure regulatory compliance to securities and listing regulations. You will also be involved in supporting global and regional legal process improvement projects.
skills and experience required.
You hold a Degree in Law and are admitted to practice in a common law jurisdiction, supported by at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in capital markets ideally gained from a reputable law firm and/or inhouse environment. Prior experience with transactions in the infrastructure space will be advantageous. The role requires the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced setting and excellent communication skills for engaging with the senior stakeholders across the region.
