about the job
Reporting to the Commercial Vice President, you will act as a cornerstone for the group’s aircraft transaction desk. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated financial models for pricing, sensitivity analysis, and debt financing schedules, while also leveraging these models for long-term business planning and cash flow forecasting. You will manage the entire lifecycle of aircraft leasing renewals, acquisitions, and sales, from drafting initial proposals and term sheets to coordinating with legal, technical, and finance teams for final closing. Beyond financial analysis, you will actively participate in deal negotiations and support transaction lawyers in documentation, ensuring all lease management systems are accurately updated and management reports are delivered with precision.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
- Relevant years of professional experience within aviation finance, marketing, or program management.
- Proven track record in the aircraft leasing industry or M&A advisory services is highly advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, with the ability to perform stress testing and summarize complex deal terms for executive decision-making.
- Strong background in contract negotiations and managing transition transactions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Highly organized self-starter who thrives when managing multiple high-priority tasks independently.
