About the Job
Reporting and partnering closely with the General Counsel, you will manage the full spectrum of corporate secretarial matters, ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. This includes coordinating and attending Board and Committee meetings, minute-taking, drafting resolutions and the maintenance of statutory registers. You will also play a key role in digital transformation by implementing automation tools to optimise operations and drive efficiency in the function.
Skills and Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you should possess at least 10 years experience in a corporate secretarial role with strong technical knowledge of corporate governance requirements. Prior experience with corporate secretarial matters in a financial institution will be advantageous. You are detailed and meticulous with a progressive mindset and are passionate about building a strong corporate governance function. Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities are required to effectively engage with senior executives and regulators, fostering a culture of compliance and good conduct throughout the organisation.
