about the job
This role is focused on the vibrant and fast-growing Consumer Fragrances sector. You will be instrumental in designing the next generation of scents for leading local and multinational brands in the categories including but not limited to personal care, home care, and directly influencing what consumers across Southeast Asia experience every day.
- Lead the development of winning perfume creations by turning consumer insights into tangible fragrances for both Consumer Fragrances (Home & Personal Care) categories.
- Collaborate closely with Fragrance Development Managers, Technical, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver beneficial solutions for clients.
- Analyse market trends and maintain in-depth knowledge of raw materials and new technologies to identify opportunities for clients.
- Act as a Creative Partner to Fragrance Development Managers by co-creating fragrance strategies and nurturing key category expertise.
- Create unique fragrances by leveraging a vast palette of natural ingredients and innovative fragrance technologies.
- Mentor and guide Trainee/Junior Perfumers within the creative team.

- A minimum of 10 years of experience working as a perfumer, with a focus on consumer fragrances.
- A proven track record and experience in the Southeast Asia market.
- Strong technical expertise and understanding of fragrance composition and formulation processes.
- The ability to conceptualise and bring innovative fragrance ideas to life.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
