about the job
- Managing the creation of new fragrances to ensure they meet project specifications and are delivered within deadlines.
- Refining and adapting existing fragrance formulas to align with client briefs, internal quality standards, or to address raw material shortages.
- Sourcing and proposing new raw materials based on their technical performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams during customer visits to provide expert support in presentations and technical discussions.
- Lending your expertise to evaluation panels for new fragrances and raw materials.
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving quality control issues as they arise.
- Supporting the perfumery training and development of other staff members when needed.

You will be part of a vibrant and diverse team that values collaboration and innovation. The role involves working closely with other perfumers, evaluators, and the sales and marketing teams. You will also have the opportunity to participate in customer visits with the sales and marketing team, providing expert support in presentations and discussions.
skills and experience required
- Minimum 6 years in the fragrance industry, with expertise in fragrance innovation.
- The ability to translate complex GCMS data into market-ready fragrance formulas.
- Refined sense of smell for precise scent evaluation, supported by a technical knowledge base.
- Presentation abilities to articulate creative ideas and technical details clearly to both colleagues and clients.
- Experience in a dynamic fragrance development environment.
- International exposure or demonstrated experience operating within international markets is a preferred qualification.
- The designated title will be commensurate with the candidate's years of experience and category expertise.
