About the JobAs Vice President, Corporate Risk Broking, you will be a pivotal leader within the Middle Market and Global Accounts division. This role demands a high-level technical practitioner capable of managing the end-to-end placement lifecycle for complex risks. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Program Design: Engineering sophisticated multi-line programs (Property, Casualty, and Specialty) with a focus on optimizing Risk Retention and Transfer Costs.
Market Negotiation: Driving the Go-To-Market strategy by leveraging senior-level relationships with lead underwriters to secure favorable terms and conditions (T&Cs).
Wording Expertise: Reviewing and drafting manuscript policy wordings to eliminate coverage gaps and ensure alignment with the client’s risk appetite.
Renewal Management: Leading the renewal strategy meetings (RSMs), providing data-backed benchmarking analysis and loss-ratio projections to demonstrate value to the client.
Revenue Growth: Identifying opportunities for cross-selling specialty lines (e.g., Cyber, D&O, Environmental) within the existing portfolio.
We are looking for a high-caliber professional with a dominant presence in the Corporate Insurance market.
Experience: Minimum 10–12 years of experience in Commercial Broking, with a proven track record in the VP or Senior Associate Director tier.
Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Risk Financing techniques, Captive structures, and Bespoke Endorsements.
Market Standing: Strong reputation and "first-name" relationships across the Company Market and Lloyd's Syndicates.
Leadership: Experience in managing high-performing placement teams and mentoring junior brokers through complex technical negotiations.
Credentials: Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, ARM, or CRM) are highly preferred.
