About the JobAs the Senior Vice President (SVP), Facultative Property Reinsurance, you will spearhead the Placement Strategy for high-value and complex risks. You will be responsible for managing Shared & Layered Accounts, overseeing Large Schedules, and navigating Global Programs. This role requires a strategic approach to Portfolio Steering, ensuring optimal capacity and pricing through rigorous Risk Assessment and a deep understanding of CAT Modeling (RMS/AIR) to mitigate NatCat (Natural Catastrophe) exposures.
About the Manager/TeamYou will join a high-performance Property Facultative division, reporting to the Managing Director. The team is comprised of elite Reinsurance Brokers and specialists known for their Technical Acumen and Entrepreneurial Spirit. You will work in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes Stakeholder Engagement and cross-border collaboration, providing Executive Leadership and mentorship to a team of rising talent while maintaining strong Market Relationships with Lloyd's and global reinsurers.
Skills and Experience RequiredExpertise: Minimum 15+ years in Reinsurance Underwriting or Facultative Broking, specifically within Commercial Property and Industrial Risks.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Technical Underwriting, Risk Engineering, and complex Wording Structures.
Business Leadership: Proven track record in P&L Management, Business Development, and driving Market Innovation.
Education & Certifications: A University Degree is required; ACII/FCII, CPCU, or ARe professional designations are highly preferred.
Network: An existing, robust network of contacts within the global Facultative Reinsurance market.
