About the Client:
Our client is a globally recognized leader in the built environment engineering sector. They specialize in high-performance safety, climate control, and ventilation systems for iconic commercial and industrial projects. With a strong legacy in Singapore, they are looking for a commercial-minded Service Manager to lead their after-market division.
The Role:
This is not just a maintenance role; it is a strategic position blending Service Operations with Commercial Growth. You will lead a technical team while driving revenue through service contracts and retrofits.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Service Technicians and Coordinators to ensure high operational performance and safety compliance.
Service Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end execution of maintenance schedules, inspections, and testing. ensuring all reports are submitted accurately and on time to clients.
Commercial Growth: Identify opportunities for "value-added" services, including upselling retrofits, system upgrades, and renewing maintenance contracts.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of completed works and inspection reports to ensure strict adherence to industry regulations (SCDF/BCA standards).
Client Management: Act as the primary escalation point for key accounts and Building Management Agents (MA), resolving disputes and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
Process Improvement: Analyze recurring technical faults or operational bottlenecks and implement root-cause solutions to improve productivity.

Requirements:
Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Service & Maintenance Management within the Building/Construction industry.
Technical Domain: Strong knowledge of Fire Safety, Smoke Control, or HVAC systems is highly preferred.
Commercial Acumen: Experience in Service Sales, Business Development, or Account Management (e.g., pricing contracts, quoting A&A works).
Stakeholder Mgmt: Proven experience dealing with Building Management (MCST/MA) and Facility Managers.
Location: West Singapore
Working hours: 5.5 days
