- Lead healthcare planning for new builds and major A&A projects, covering all critical clinical and support departments (e.g., ORs, wards, diagnostics).
- Facilitate high-level clinical workshops to map workflows and translate operational needs into efficient, functional spatial programs.
- Ensure strict adherence to Singapore MOH Guidelines and relevant international healthcare standards (e.g., JCI) for infection control and universal design.
- Develop core planning outputs (functional diagrams, space programs, adjacency matrices) and manage the review of detailed design and technical documentation with consultants.
- Act as the primary technical coordinator with consultants, contractors, and client teams throughout all project phases.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of internal healthcare design standards and scalable planning tools.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or Structural/M&E Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, design, and technical delivery of complex healthcare facilities (e.g., acute-care hospitals).
- Proven experience delivering large-scale acute-care hospitals and/or complex, multi-phased Additions & Alterations (A&A) projects within operational healthcare environments.
- Expert knowledge of Singapore building codes and compliance frameworks, specifically MOH (Ministry of Health) facility requirements, BCA (Building and Construction Authority) regulations, and SCDF (Singapore Civil Defence Force) fire safety requirements.
- High proficiency in BIM software (Revit) for design and documentation, AutoCAD, and strong presentation software skills (e.g., Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint).
