about the job
- Lead the M&E components of tender preparation, including technical cost estimation, proposal evaluations, and clarifications for complex institutional and healthcare sectors.
- Develop comprehensive M&E construction and execution plans, proactively identifying project risks and implementing robust mitigation strategies.
- Champion the adoption of advanced construction technologies and lead "front-loading" initiatives during the design and planning phases.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless compliance and communication.
- Oversee Testing & Commissioning (T&C), conduct quality audits, and uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
- Manage MEP contracts, resource allocation, procurement schedules, and overall site productivity.
knowledge and skills
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (recognised by PE Board)
- Min 12 years of proven experience in M&E construction planning and execution, with a strong track record in the Main Contractor environment
- Substantial experience managing complex facilities such as Hospitals, Healthcare hubs, data center, semiconductor
- Deep understanding of M&E systems, construction technologies, and local Singapore building codes/safety frameworks.
