Our client is an offshore logistics solution company with a solid footprint in the Asian market. As part of their rapid expansion, they are looking to hire a Tender & Procurement Manager to join their Singapore office.
about the job
- Plan, develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Source and price quotations, and confirm supplier selection with the reporting boss.
- Oversee the supplier evaluation process, focusing on key performance areas such as fuel quality, quantity, and operational reliability.
- Identify and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor, manage, and maintain comprehensive documentation of all activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure global price lists, supplier records and contract terms are accurately maintained.
- Monitor procurement performance KPIs.
skills and experience required
- Degree in engineering / supply chain or related
- Willing to work in the west of Singapore (Boon Lay / Pioneer / Tuas)
- Min 8 years of experience in offshore logistic environment will be a plus
- Experience in tender, price comparison & markup optimization
