about the job
This role involves managing the underwriting and portfolio administration for commercial lines business originated through international brokerage channels. You will be responsible for assessing risks and providing technical support to ensure the delivery of insurance solutions that meet the requirements of corporate clients within the broker network.
• Risk Underwriting: Evaluating and underwriting commercial risks from international brokers within established risk appetites while determining appropriate pricing and terms.
• Broker Liaison: Managing the daily servicing of international brokerage accounts to ensure the efficient processing of renewals and new business submissions.
• Policy Review: Reviewing policy wordings and contract terms to ensure alignment with company guidelines and the specific needs of the broker-led business.
• Technical Support: Providing technical assistance and guidance to broker partners regarding product coverage, policy exclusions, and risk assessments.
• Market Monitoring: Analyzing market trends and competitor activities within the international broker segment to support the development of competitive insurance offerings.
• Portfolio Management: Monitoring the performance of the assigned commercial lines portfolio to maintain underwriting standards and achieve departmental objectives.

• Communication: Effective communication skills for managing professional interactions with external partners.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and insurance-related software systems.
• Qualifications: Professional insurance certifications such as BCP, PGI, or ComGI.
