They are currently seeking a Vice-President, Compensation and Benefits to lead the C&B and employee strategies for the Singapore market. This role reports into the Head of Human Resources with a functional reporting line to the Regional C&B Lead based in Australia.
about the job
- Lead and manage compensation programs for the market, providing accurate data and advise to business partners and employees on compensation matters
- Conduct annual salary and bonus benchmarking, market research and ensure all compensation is competitive with industry standards and business objectives
- Manage bonus simulations and analysis, annual compensation cycles, financial projection; providing accurate data and insights for senior management review
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders on business forecast, budget cycles, development of compensation solutions, implementing effective benefits and rewards programmes
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Strategy, Planning teams on staff cost budgeting, headcount, mobility and forecasting for the Singapore office

skills and experience required
- Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience in compensation and benefits, with a focus on developing compensation programs
- Excellent understanding of structuring compensation programmes, market knowledge and best practices
- Track record in business partnering with good communication skills as the role will interact with senior business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the competitive compensation standards within financial services, compensation regulations, financial accounting reporting. Detail orientated with excellent analytical skills.
- Proven experience in Compensation / HR / Finance roles within the financial services industry
- Proficiency in financial modelling, WorkDay, Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
- In-house experience preferred, though role is also open to experienced candidates from an agency background focusing on compensation frameworks for banking and financial services clients
