About the Job
As an Admin Manager, you will oversee a wide range of operational, financial, and administrative functions to support construction projects. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Project & Financial Management: Supervise site procurement, approve petty cash, manage back charges, and maintain inventory records.
- Infrastructure & Compliance: Assist in office setups, handle license applications with authorities such as EMA, PUB, and SCDF, and monitor environmental controls through internal audits.
- Administration & Legal: Draft professional agreements and correspondence, and prepare documentation for and attend court proceedings.
- HR & Payroll: Manage payroll for workers and drivers, handle staff timesheets and allowances, and oversee worker welfare and records.
- Accounting & Insurance: Assist with accounts payable/receivable, review joint venture partner billing, and manage all project insurance matters, including C.A.R. claims and Work Injury Compensation (W.I.C.).
About the Manager / Team
You will function as a proactive team player who can work autonomously while reporting operational matters, such as manpower strength and IT equipment, directly to clients. The role requires close coordination with the Town Office HR department for compensation administration and collaboration with joint venture partners.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior administrative or management role within a construction project-based environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the daily administrative demands of the construction industry and knowledge of civil, structural, or reclamation work.
- Project Background: Previous experience with Joint Venture (JV) construction projects is highly preferred.
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in HR Information systems, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
- Soft Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively.
