This is an end-to-end product management role focused on the successful delivery and expansion of the brand’s portfolio. You are not just coming up with ideas; you are responsible for the total health of the product, ensuring that every item, from its formula and raw materials to its packaging and labeling, is fit for purpose across multiple Asian markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-End NPD Coordination: Managing the roadmap for new launches, ensuring timelines are met between R&D, manufacturing, and sales.
- Product Optimization: Evaluating existing products to suggest practical improvements in formulas or raw material sourcing to enhance quality or compliance.
- Packaging & Labelling: Leading decisions on packaging formats and ensuring all labels meet specific country regulations.
- Regional Market Mapping: Analyzing which products from the global portfolio are suitable for launch in specific regional markets based on local consumer habits and regulatory ease.
about the manager/team
You will report to the Regional Head. The team is lean and values "Project Owners" - people who don't just wait for instructions but take charge of a product's journey from the factory to the pharmacy shelf. It is a highly cross-functional environment where you will be the "go-to" person for both technical and commercial teams.
skills and experience required
- Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in NPD, Product Management, or Category Management within FMCG, Food, or Consumer Health.
- You should understand the basics of raw materials, packaging stability, and labeling requirements.
- A strong track record in managing the "nitty-gritty" of a product launch (Project Management).
- Required to coordinate with regional manufacturing sites and stakeholders.
- Able to look at a product and see both the technical constraints and the commercial opportunities.
