Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as a key member of the finance team responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and regulatory functions for the management and holding entities. This comprehensive role involves managing full sets of accounts (AR, AP, and GL), performing analytical variance reviews, and preparing monthly management reporting packs for the head office. You will be a vital link in the statutory and compliance chain, preparing financial statements and XBRL filings while liaising with auditors, trustees, and tax agents to ensure adherence to relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. Beyond routine reporting, you will drive financial foresight through quarterly rolling forecasts, annual budgeting, and cash flow projections, while maintaining rigorous internal controls through the management of related-party transaction registers and quarterly GST returns. This position offers a high-impact opportunity to work independently in a regulated environment, ensuring all accounting policies and SOPs are executed with meticulous precision and professional excellence.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
- Relevant years of progressive accounting experience in a similar position
- Prior background in a real estate environment is highly preferred
- Track record in handling full sets of accounts, GST returns, and corporate tax filings
- Strong understanding of statutory requirements and regulatory compliance within a listed environment
- Skilled in preparing statutory financial statements and XBRL filings
- Adaptable and skilled in coordinating with external auditors, trustees, and tax agents
- Responsible, meticulous, motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to drive alignment in a dynamic setting
