In this position as a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible to ensure that all claims are processed in a timely manner and claims payment are paid correctly within the turnaround time. The ideal incumbent will be responsible for policy liability, investigate all claims, compute/determine the claim amount payable based on policy cover, management guidelines and reviewing of LOG requests.
In order to be successful in this position, you will be required to handle and manage claim enquiries/complaints from policyholder, claimants, intermediaries, hospitals and various other parties.
Skills & experience required
- 2+ years of experience in employee benefits claims assessment and claims management
- Excellent team player and self-motivated
- Ability to work with tight timelines and under pressure
- Highly organised around multiple priorities & timelines
- Good understanding of the Insurance industry (Life & Health)
- Candidates with Complex or Major Claims experience may apply
