- Oversee the credit control operations for the retail portfolio, managing credit risk assessment, collections.
- Take ownership of the retail portfolio, ensuring timely payments, managing customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the credit control function, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports and analysis on credit control performance and portfolio trends, providing insights to senior management for decision-making purposes.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit control, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing credit control operations and leading teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.
