Job Description:
As the Sales Director for SEA, you will report directly to the Vice President of Sales for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, based in Singapore. Your role will be instrumental in overseeing the entire sales process, from initiating targeted outbound activities to securing deals and managing ongoing client relationships. You will be responsible for managing a profit and loss (P&L) exceeding $100 million USD, with direct oversight of sales leaders in various countries across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Assume ownership of regional sales targets and resource allocation.
- Drive and be accountable for achieving top-line growth throughout Southeast Asia.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key prospects and stakeholders.
- Establish yourself as an industry thought leader and trusted advisor.
Business Development:
- Develop and execute business development plans and strategies across the SEA region.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Over 15 years of experience in selling to government agencies and public accounts, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar projects and assume overall responsibility.
- Proven experience in selling solutions to high-ranking government officials, building lasting client relationships, and providing strategic insights.
- Previous experience selling into complex accounts is essential.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings, trade shows, and events.
