The accomplishments and success stories of Dutch and Singaporean businesses were celebrated at DutchCham’s second annual Winsemius Awards on March 29. Randstad was proud to sponsor the Small Business Rising Star Award, which was clinched by WEnergy, a company that provides sustainable energy solutions to developing markets in Southeast Asia.

WEnergy CEO, Atem Ramsundersingh, was especially proud of the lighting solution provided for the cycling route around Bangkok Airport. “We won because our technology was cleanest – even though it wasn’t the cheapest.”

Sustainability, innovation and Singapore and Dutch connections were the most important measures for the awards, and the award winners came through across industries and activities.
