As the Head of HR reporting into the Board of Directors, you will lead a lean team and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources Functions and driving business partnering initiatives to improve performance and talent development within the organisation:-
- Partner closely with the leadership team to develop and implement effective HR strategies that are aligned with the high growth of the business
- Collaborate with senior management to identify key HR priorities and initiatives that drives business success
- Provide expertise and guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning
- Be the driving force to develop, implement, and participate in performance management system and champion employee engagement initiatives
- Lead the implementation of a robust, consistent, and meaningful performance management system, in line with the organisation's Talent Management Framework
- Oversee and manage the full spectrum of the recruitment process, which includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates
- Formulate effective hiring strategies and staffing plans to assists in strategic business plans and activities
- Lead initiatives related to organisational development, culture, and change management
- Analyses trends in compensation and benefits; proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organisation attracts and retains the top talent
- Works closely with the leadership team on HR projects and initiatives which develop the culture of the business to help engage and retain employees
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other packages
- Assists in developing and managing performance appraisals
- Other HR duties as assigned
skills and experience required
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in HR and HR Business Partnering, experience in high growth business or start-up organisations preferred
- Adaptable, able to work in a dynamic environment
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of labour law and local tax regulations in Singapore and Malaysia
- Prior experience hiring for technical positions would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
